How an engagement works

From first call to trial plan — the sequence we use so operations improvement stays grounded in your building, not in a generic playbook.

Why this page exists

Clients often ask what the weeks look like before they commit. Here is the usual path for our flagship Operations Diagnostic and how shorter consultations nest inside it.

The stages

Conversation

A short call to hear the bottleneck, sites, and timing. If we are the wrong help, we say so. If we fit, we send a one-page scope and fee.

Access & dates

You confirm who we may interview, which shifts we can observe, and where we can stand without slowing a live line.

Walk & listen

Site days follow real work: job cards, pick lists, quote folders. We ask supervisors what they already tried.

Map & prioritise

We draft a simple flow of handovers, then rank fixes by relief versus effort. You see the draft before the readout.

Readout & trial

A working session — not a theatre presentation — agrees owners and a 90-day trial. We return for one check-in call.

Your role

Someone with authority to change a local rule must attend the readout. Supervisors need time for interviews. Perfect data is not required; honest samples beat polished fiction.

Our role

We facilitate, document, and challenge assumptions. We do not replace your managers or stay on payroll to run the line.

After the diagnostic

Many clients stop there and implement alone. Others continue with handover workshops, a capacity review, or fulfilment coaching when a single area needs more shoulder-to-shoulder time.
