About CloudKernel Consulting
We are a small United Kingdom practice that works beside owner-led teams until the week feels more predictable — not until the report looks impressive.
Why we exist
Many growing firms in Britain inherit routines that worked when everyone sat in one room. As headcount rises, those same habits create quiet chaos: sales promises dates production never saw, stores hold parts “just in case,” and Friday becomes a rescue mission. CloudKernel Consulting exists to restore a workable rhythm between those rooms.
How we began
The practice grew out of years spent inside mid-sized manufacturers and distributors — standing on packing lines, sitting with planners, and watching how a single unclear handover multiplies overtime. We kept being asked for “a bit of outside eyes” that stayed practical. That request became the firm.
Working approach
- Walk before we write. We prefer a live job card to a theoretical process chart.
- Name trade-offs. Every buffer costs something; we say so plainly.
- Leave ownership on site. Supervisors keep the maps; we do not become a permanent shadow management layer.
- Respect the craft. Fitters, pickers, and clerks usually know the truth first — we make that truth discussable in the boardroom.
